Neel Dhoundiyal's work experience starts with their role as a Software Engineer at Ikigai starting in November 2022. Prior to that, they worked as an Academic Intern at UC Berkeley Electrical Engineering & Computer Sciences (EECS) from January 2020 to May 2020, where they assisted students and helped deliver course material for the CS 61B (Data Structures) course. Neel also served as a Data Science Intern at Educational Initiatives in July 2019, where they processed and analyzed student data and built a data visualization using Python libraries. Neel worked as a Lab Assistant for CS 61A (Structure and Interpretation of Computer Programs) at UC Berkeley EECS from January 2019 to May 2019, providing assistance to students with course material and projects. Neel's experience also includes working as a Software Engineer on the Recovery Sub-Team at Cal Space Technologies and Rocketry (CalSTAR) from September 2018 to May 2019, where they contributed to the development of the Arktos rocket and collaborated with the avionics team. Finally, in October and November 2016, Neel worked as a Student Ambassador for the Ministry of Education in Dubai, UAE.
Neel Dhoundiyal completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley from 2018 to 2022. Prior to that, they attended GEMS Modern Academy from 2004 to 2018, where they pursued ICSE and International Baccalaureate studies. In addition to their formal education, Neel also obtained a certification in Introduction to Python for Data Science from edX in July 2016.
