Guillaume Demarcq is a seasoned professional in the field of computer vision and image processing, currently serving as the CEO and Co-Founder of Ikomia since August 2019. Prior to this role, Guillaume worked as an Independent Consultant specializing in project ownership and computer vision consulting from June 2018 to July 2019. Guillaume's academic background includes a PhD in Applied Mathematics, with a focus on image processing, earned from MIA Lab-University La Rochelle between 2007 and 2010. Notably, Guillaume held research engineer positions at MIA Lab-University La Rochelle and Explora Nova, engaging in various projects related to multidimensional and biomedical image processing, alongside code optimization and parallel computing. The research conducted under Guillaume's direction was supported by funding from the Office of Naval Research.
