Andrew Pease has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as a Service Engineer at Halliburton in 2015. Andrew then transitioned to become a Logging Geologist, where they monitored drilling operations and performed lithology sampling. In 2017, they became a Senior Logging Geologist - Data Engineer, responsible for managing and maintaining a large data acquisition system.
In 2018, Andrew joined Ikon Science as a Geoscientist In Test, where they provided extensive software testing for the RokDoc GeoPrediction software. Andrew identified and documented software defects and worked closely with developers and support staff to optimize the user experience. Andrew later advanced to the position of Software Test Lead, overseeing a team of testers and ensuring the completion of testing requirements for sprint cycles and regression testing phases across the full suite of RokDoc products.
Throughout their roles, Andrew has demonstrated technical expertise, leadership skills, and a focus on improving software quality and usability.
Andrew Pease completed a BSc (Hons) in Applied Geology at the University of Plymouth from 2010 to 2013. Prior to that, they attended Bennett Memorial Diocesan School from 2003 to 2010. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications, including Certified Tester Foundation Level, Introduction to Linux, International Well Control Forum Training, Fundamentals of Petroleum Engineering, Compressed Air Emergency Breathing System (CA-EBS) Initial Deployment Training, Maersk HSSE Certification, ConocoPhillips Personal Safety Involvement Training, Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training (BOSIET) with HUET and EBS, and Minimum Industry Safety Training (MIST).
