Muaz Niazi

Muaz Niazi, PhD, currently serves as the Head of AI/ML Engineering at IKONIC since August 2025. With extensive editorial experience, Niazi has held the position of Editor-in-Chief for Complex Adaptive Systems Modeling and serves as Associate Editor for Cognitive Computation at Springer Nature, both since 2012. Additionally, Niazi is the Editor-in-Chief Emeritus and founding Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Privacy and Health Information Management at IGI Global and has been an Associate Editor for Transactions on Emerging Telecommunications Technologies at Wiley-Blackwell since March 2011. Niazi's academic contributions include roles as a Professor at several institutions, including NUST School of Electrical Engineering & Computer Science and Military College of Signals - NUST, with expertise in Software Engineering and R&D leadership at Bahria University. Niazi earned a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Stirling and a Master's degree from Boston University.
