Chia-Hui Wu has a diverse work experience in the field of chemistry. Chia-Hui began their career in 2007 as a Summer Intern at Chang Chun Group. In 2010, they started their PhD studies at Academia Sinica, Taiwan, where they also served as a Research Assistant. During their PhD studies, they identified mechanisms of chemical glycosylation and further improved stereoselectivity via intermediate selection. Chia-Hui also developed a simple and convenient analytical method to monitor solid-phase reaction in real-time. In 2017, they served as a Visiting PhD Student at Osaka University, where they isolated N-glycan from natural source via solvent extraction, chromatography, and enzymatic treatment. In 2019, they returned to Academia Sinica, Taiwan, as a Postdoctoral Fellow, where they investigated glucose-fructose transformation pathway in layered metal oxides and performed exclusively regioselective glycosylation with heterogeneous carbon-based catalyst. In 2021, they joined Iksuda Therapeutics as a Senior Scientist, Chemist, and Development Chemist.
Chia-Hui Wu attended National Taiwan University from 2004 to 2018, where they received a Bachelor's degree in Department of Chemical Engineering in 2008, a Master's degree in Polymer Science and Polymer Engineering in 2010, and a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Department of Chemistry in 2018.
