Maxime Laugeois

Maxime Laugeois has a strong background in chemistry and pharmaceutical research. Maxime is currently working as a Medicinal Chemistry Scientist at Iktos, starting in May 2022. Prior to this role, they were employed by Oncodesign as a Research Chemist from November 2017 to May 2022. Maxime completed their PhD studies at Chimie ParisTech - École Nationale Supérieure de Chimie de Paris, where they focused on the development of novel cycloaddition reactions. Maxime also held a research internship at the same institution, where they worked on synergistic metal-organocatalysis applied to organic synthesis. Additionally, Maxime gained experience as a research intern at Sanofi, where they synthesized therapeutic molecules and reference compounds. Maxime also completed an internship at Institut Parisien de Chimie Moléculaire (IPCM).

Maxime Laugeois earned a Licence in Physics and Chemistry from CY Cergy Paris Université between the years 2009 to 2011. Afterward, from 2011 to 2014, they attended Pierre and Marie Curie University and obtained a Master's degree in Organic Chemistry. Finally, Maxime Laugeois pursued further education at Chimie ParisTech - PSL, where they completed their PhD in Organic Chemistry from 2014 to 2017.
