Mel Gonen

Mel Gonen has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and industries.

Starting in 2008, Mel worked at FLB as a VP of Operations, focusing on providing tuition and support to UNISA students. After five years, Mel transitioned to Edge Business School as a General Manager, overseeing the institution's operations and supporting UNISA students at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

In 2015, Mel joined MyHeritage as a Customer Care Manager, where they managed customer inquiries and provided support for the online genealogy platform.

Next, Mel worked at ADCORE | Podium Advertising Technologies LTD in 2016 as a Customer Success Manager, assisting marketing professionals and agencies with efficient search engine marketing solutions. Later that year, Mel moved to Trackmatic, where they took on the role of Development Manager. They were responsible for driving logistics innovation and delivering software solutions to enhance operational key performance indicators (KPIs) for clients.

Mel's most recent position is as a Scrum Master at Ikue, starting in 2022. As a Scrum Master, Mel is involved in project management using agile methodologies, ensuring efficient teamwork and timely delivery.

Mel Gonen completed their Bachelor's Degree in Finance and Financial Management Services at UNISA in 2011. Prior to that, they attended Yeshiva College from 1998 to 2003, where they completed their High School education. Additionally, Mel has obtained certifications such as Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) from Scrum Alliance in September 2022 and Certified SAFe® 5 Scrum Master from Scaled Agile, Inc. in November 2022.
