Mauritius Schmitz

Mauritius Schmitz's work experience includes serving as the Scientific Director at the Institut für Kunststoffverarbeitung (IKV) in Industrie und Handwerk an der RWTH Aachen since January 2019. Prior to that, they worked as a Research Assistant at the same institute from January 2015 to December 2018. Mauritius also worked as a Computational Engineer specializing in injection molding for a brief period in 2014. In addition, Mauritius has worked as a Freelancer, providing web development and IT services, starting from 2010. Mauritius also held positions as a Student Assistant - System Administrator at RWTH Aachen University's Department of Building Technology from 2010 to 2012, and at the Department of Structural Design from 2009 to 2011. Mauritius completed an internship at ISATEC GmbH in 2011. Lastly, they worked as a Student Assistant - System Administrator at RWTH Aachen University's Department of Technical Completion and Design from 2008 to 2010.

Mauritius Schmitz attended RWTH Aachen University from 2005 to 2013, where they obtained a Diplom degree in Computational Engineering Science.
