SVP, Revenue at IL MAKIAGE

Mark Khanin is the Senior Vice President of Revenue at IL MAKIAGE. Mark has extensive experience in business strategy, real estate, and merchandise planning. Prior to joining IL MAKIAGE, Mark worked as an MBA intern at Care/of, a fast-growing wellness startup. Mark was responsible for driving and improving operations, including raw material sourcing, fulfillment, and customer care. Mark also developed an audit tool to catch and understand customer issues and to inform and prioritize engineering, customer care, and operations backlog. In addition, they created an inventory model for forecasting and tracking raw material purchases based on customer and vitamin growth.

Before their work at Care/of, Mark was with Sweaty Betty as their U.S. Business Strategy, Real Estate, and Merchandise Planning lead. In this role, Mark was responsible for developing and executing the company’s long-term growth strategy in the United States. This included identifying new markets for expansion, negotiating leases, and overseeing the merchandise planning process. Mark was also in charge of developing relationships with key partners and suppliers.

Mark began their career at Bain & Company as a Senior Manager. Mark spent nine years at Bain, working with a variety of clients in a number of industries on strategic projects. Mark gained a deep understanding of how businesses operate and how to create value for shareholders. Mark’s work at Bain prepared him well for their current role at IL MAKIAGE.

Mark Khanin graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Harvard University, cum laude with High Honors in department. Mark then went on to get their Master of Business Administration from Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
