John Vescovo

John Vescovo is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the banking and audit sectors. Currently serving as Executive Director and CEO of the Independent Living Center of Southern California since January 2024, John previously held senior roles at US Metro Bank, where responsibilities included managing the Internal Audit Department and implementing critical controls and risk management processes. With a noteworthy career that includes positions such as Chief Risk Officer at Bank of Santa Clarita and Chief Executive Officer of John Vescovo Internal Audit and Consulting Services, John has demonstrated expertise in risk management, compliance, and internal auditing. A graduate of California State University, Northridge, John possesses a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Business Administration, alongside a long tenure that started with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency.
