Amber Soto

Amber Soto has extensive experience in the field of education, particularly in mathematics. Amber started their career as a Math Teacher with the Los Angeles Unified School District in 2003 and worked in this role for five years. Amber then joined Green Dot Public Schools in 2008 as an Instructional Coach of Mathematics, where they provided guidance and support to teachers. After two years, they transitioned to the Los Angeles Unified School District again, this time as an Instructional Coach of Mathematics. In 2012, they joined the Norwalk La Mirada Unified School District as a TOSA (Teacher on Special Assignment) and Instructional Coach of Mathematics. Amber'sresponsibilities included both teaching math and providing instructional support to other teachers. In 2014, Amber Soto became an Assistant Principal with the Anaheim Union High School District, a role they held until 2018. Currently, they serve as the Director of Mathematics at iLEAD Schools.

Amber Soto's education history spans from 1996 to 2004. Amber began their academic journey at Antelope Valley College, where they earned an Associate of Arts (AA) degree in Letters, Arts and Sciences, as well as an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Mathematics, during the years 1996 to 2001. Amber then transferred to the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Applied Mathematics from 2001 to 2003. Following their undergraduate studies, they continued their education at UCLA and obtained a Master of Education (MEd) degree in Mathematics Teacher Education in 2004.
