Gurkan Kose

Gurkan Kose, Ph.D., has extensive work experience in the education sector. Gurkan has been the Chief Academic Officer at iLearn Schools since August 2021. Prior to this position, they served as the Director of Curriculum and Instruction at iLearn Schools from June 2020 to August 2021. Gurkan also worked as the Mathematics Program Director at iLearn Schools from July 2013 to August 2021. In addition to their roles at iLearn Schools, Dr. Kose worked as a Graduate Research Assistant (Part-time) at Montclair State University from May 2017 to December 2019.

Gurkan Kose, Ph.D. earned their Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Secondary Mathematics Teaching from Boğaziçi University from 2000 to 2004. Gurkan later pursued a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Mathematics Education from Montclair State University, completing it from 2015 to 2021.
