Iuri Vargas

Iuri Vargas has a diverse range of work experience in various roles and industries. Iuri started their career in 2013 as a Technical Support Intern at the Secretaria de Desenvolvimento e Promoção do Investimento, where they provided remote and on-site technical support to users. Iuri then worked as a Technical Support Assistant at Complexo Hospital Parque Belem, taking on the responsibility of providing support for the entire hospital alone.

In 2014, Iuri transitioned to the role of Software Development Assistant at Hospital Mãe de Deus and later took on the role of Technical Support Assistant.

In 2016, Iuri joined Prismatec - Soluções que rendem as a Full Stack Developer, specializing in logistics and management for large Brazilian insurers. Iuri gained knowledge in Google Maps library and frontend development, working with C# and Postgree.

Iuri then moved to CWI Software, where they initially worked as a Full Stack Developer, focusing on maintenance and gradually transitioning to a Systems Analyst role. During this time, they were involved in the digital transformation of Agibank.

In 2018, Iuri joined PUCRS - Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul as a Systems Analyst, where they were responsible for technical planning and management. Iuri collaborated with the team to define product objectives through Lean Inception ceremonies and was involved in documentation, specification, setup, and development of the project.

Currently, Iuri works at ilegra as a Head of Operations, leading the operations team. Iuri also served as an OKR Champion, leading the internal OKR evangelization program and improving employee engagement and understanding of OKRs. Additionally, they held the position of Team Leader and Systems Analyst/Tech Lead, providing support to their squad and ensuring successful project delivery at Agibank. Iuri paid special attention to the emotional well-being of their team members and aimed to foster a united and pleasant work environment.

Iuri Vargas obtained a Master of Business Administration - MBA in Leadership, Team Management, and Productivity from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul, from 2021 to 2022. Prior to that, they completed a Technologist degree in Analysis and Systems Development from Senac-RS, from 2015 to 2018. Iuri also completed a Technical Course in Information Technology from Alcides Maya, from 2012 to 2013.

In addition to their formal education, Iuri Vargas obtained several certifications. Iuri became a Professional OKR Coach Certified from Agile Institute Brazil in August 2021. Iuri also completed a course titled "OKR: Metodologia e Aplicação" from Udemy in June 2021. Furthermore, they obtained a certification in "Fast MBA - Liderança e Gestão de Pessoas" from Fast MBA in May 2021. Earlier, they became an Agile Master from PUCRS - Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul in January 2019 and obtained a Scrum Foundation Professional certification from CertiProf® in the same month and year. Moreover, they earned a Collaboration Jam 2017 certification from Faculdade Senac Porto Alegre in May 2017. Iuri Vargas also acquired certifications in ASP.NET MVC from Prismatec in August 2016 and in Android from Sisnema Informática in January 2016.
