Aisling Reidy is an experienced advocacy and policy professional currently serving as an Advocacy Officer at ILGA-Europe since April 2023. Previously, Aisling completed a traineeship in Policy Evaluation at the European Economic and Social Committee, focusing on major EU policies related to education, humanitarian aid, and research funding. Aisling's role as a Policy Officer at Focus Ireland involved lobbying and policy analysis, with a notable achievement of leading the Irish Coalition to End Youth Homelessness to successfully advocate for a Youth Homelessness Strategy. Aisling has also contributed to evidence-based policymaking as a Graduate Statistician at the Department of Health in Ireland, authored key publications, and facilitated stakeholder engagement workshops. Aisling's academic credentials include an Advanced Masters in European Policy and Public Administration from KU Leuven and a B.A. (Hons.) from Trinity College Dublin, complemented by an Erasmus program at Sciences Po.
