Olena Shevchenko

Olena Shevchenko currently serves as a Board Member at ILGA World since November 2021 and has been the Director at NGO insight since May 2012. Previously, Olena held board member positions at ILGA-Europe from September 2016 to December 2023 and at IGLYO from January 2010 to March 2011. Additionally, Olena worked as a teacher at the National Pedagogical University by M.P. Dragomanov from September 2004 to June 2010. In terms of education, Olena is pursuing a Master of Arts in Sociology at the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy and a Doctor of Philosophy in Social Work at Borys Grinchenko Kyiv Metropolitan University, while having completed an aspirant program in natural-geographical sciences and a Master's degree in Public Relations, Advertising, and Applied Communication.
