Jody Hume

Jody Hume has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Jody is currently the Director of Editorial & Copy at ILIA Beauty since 2022. Prior to this, they worked at The RealReal from 2013 to 2022, holding positions such as Associate Content Director, Senior Content Editor, Content Editor for Fashion & Lifestyle, and Fashion Copywriter. From 2011 to 2013, they worked at Thrifted & Modern as a Copywriter/Producer. Earlier in their career, from 2006 to 2013, they served as a Program Manager at Bay Area Tutoring Centers, Inc. and as an English Tutor from 2003 to 2006 at the same company.

Jody Hume obtained a BA degree in Philosophy from the University of California, Berkeley from 2000 to 2002. Furthering their education, Jody then pursued a MA degree in Humanities - Philosophy from the University of Chicago, attending from 2002 to 2003.
