Thomas D.

Thomas D. began their work experience as a Corporate Finance Intern at First Mercury Financial Corporation in 2008. Thomas then worked as an Internal Audit Intern at Delphi in 2011. In the same year, they also served as an Audit Intern at KPMG US. Thomas joined KPMG US again in 2013 as an Audit Associate, where they worked until 2015 and gained experience in overseeing engagements, performing test work, and working with executive management. Thomas then became an Audit Manager at KPMG US from 2018 to 2020, responsible for reviewing and analyzing financial statements and ensuring compliance with GAAP and SEC regulations. Thomas later took on the role of Senior Audit Manager at KPMG US from 2020 to 2023 before joining Ilitch Companies as the Director of Financial Reporting and Analysis in 2023.

Thomas D. began their education at Notre Dame Prep, where they attended from 2004 to 2008. After completing high school, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Accounting at Michigan State University. Thomas enrolled in 2008 and graduated in 2011. Following their undergraduate studies, Thomas continued their education at Michigan State University - Eli Broad College of Business, where they completed a Masters of Accounting degree from 2011 to 2012.
