Sai Bhaskar Kuchimanchi

Sai Bhaskar Kuchimanchi is currently a Mechanical Engineer at Illini Electric Motorsports, contributing to chassis and suspension subteams while focusing on offseason projects, including sensor package integration and new closeout panel designs. Previously, as the Lead Mechanical Engineer for the Monta Vista Robotics Team from September 2020 to June 2023, Sai led the design and manufacturing of the robot's drivetrain for two consecutive seasons and provided mentorship in engineering design and manufacturing techniques. Additionally, as the Director of Engineering for the Monta Vista Physics and Engineering Club from April 2021 to May 2023, Sai facilitated meetings and lectures on engineering principles connected to math and physics education. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, with an expected graduation date in May 2027, Sai's educational background includes graduating from Monta Vista High School in June 2023.
