Angela Farwig

Angela Farwig has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and organizations. Their most recent position was as the Vice President of Public Policy, Research, and Advocacy at Illinois Action for Children, which they started in March 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Policy Advisor at Advance Illinois from January 2022 to March 2023. Angela also has experience as a Principal at Flourish Strategies LLC from August 2020 to January 2022. Angela served as the Director of Early Childhood at the Community Learning Center Institute from November 2017 to May 2020. Before that, Angela worked as a Policy Manager at Start Early from November 2015 to November 2017. Angela also held the positions of Policy Specialist (July 2013-August 2014) and Policy Analyst (October 2011-June 2013) at Start Early. Angela started their career as an Associate at Jones Day from September 2005 to January 2009.

Angela Farwig completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology at Boston College from 1998 to 2002. Following that, they pursued a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree at The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law from 2002 to 2005. Then, in 2009 to 2010, they obtained a Master's degree in Public Policy from Loyola University Chicago.
