Patrick Ryan has extensive experience in both public service and media, currently serving as a Senior Assistant to the Attorney General at the Illinois Attorney General's Office since August 2000. In this role, Patrick researches and writes executive briefing materials, collaborates with various stakeholders, and coordinates logistics for public engagements. Prior to this, Patrick served as an Intelligence Specialist 1st Class in the U.S. Navy Reserve from July 2002 to April 2007, and held multiple photography roles, including Staff Photographer positions at both the Illinois Attorney General's Office and Pioneer Press Newspapers, as well as Assistant Chief Photographer at Press Publications/Liberty. Patrick holds a Bachelor of Arts in Photojournalism from Northern Illinois University and has recently completed training as an Emergency Medical Technician-Basic at the College of DuPage.
