Katie Kaluzny has extensive experience in environmental policy and public service, currently serving as Deputy Director at Illinois Green Alliance since April 2008. Throughout the tenure at Illinois Green Alliance, Katie has held various leadership positions, including Associate Director, Interim Executive Director, and Manager of Education and Marketing. Concurrently, since June 2016, Katie has contributed as a Village Trustee and Conservation Commissioner for the Village of Brookfield, Illinois. Prior professional experience includes a role at the City of Chicago Department of Environment and a position as Volunteer and Intern Coordinator at the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum. Katie holds a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Policy and Natural Resource Management and a BS in Resource Ecology/Environmental Policy from the University of Michigan, as well as a Master's degree in Public Service Management from DePaul University.
