Rahim Thompson

Manager of Public Programs & Special Projects at Illinois Holocaust Museum & Education Center

Rahim Thompson has held a variety of roles in the past seven years. In 2021, they began working as the Manager of Public Programs & Special Projects at the Illinois Holocaust Museum & Education Center, where they lead and oversees the creation of public programs related to exhibitions, commemorations, and other Holocaust, genocide, and human rights topics. Prior to this, they were a Conference Program Manager at Q1 Productions from 2019-2021, a General Manager at LA Fitness from 2016-2019, a Sports Reporter at the Chicago Tribune Media Group from 2016-2019, a Reporter at The Wichita Eagle from 2014-2016, a Sports Columnist at The Sunflower from 2014-2015, a Freelance Writer at The Kansas City Star from 2015-2016, and a Sports Intern at KWCH 12 from 2014-2015.

Rahim Thompson attended Merrillville High School from 2008 to 2011. Rahim then went on to earn a Bachelor of Engineering in English Literature (British and Commonwealth) from Wichita State University between 2013 and 2016. Rahim also holds a Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) from the Project Management Institute, which they obtained in December 2022.
