Jennifer Koehler, J.D. has a diverse range of work experience. Jennifer currently serves as the Vice President of Government Relations at the Illinois Health and Hospital Association. Prior to this role, Jennifer was the CEO of J. Koehler Consulting, where they provided strategic consulting on policy issues, with a focus on healthcare challenges, including the COVID-19 response. Jennifer has also held positions at Loyola University Health System as the Vice President of External Affairs, overseeing government affairs and community health initiatives. Additionally, Jennifer has served as an Adjunct Faculty at Loyola University Chicago School of Law and has held various roles in the State of Illinois, including Executive Director and Deputy General Counsel. Earlier in their career, they worked at the Cook County Juvenile Temporary Detention Center and served as the Chief of Staff to Cook County Commissioner Mike Quigley. Jennifer began their career as a Staff Attorney at the Technical Review Unit, Illinois House of Representatives.

Jennifer Koehler, J.D. completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Loyola University Chicago in 1993. Jennifer then pursued their Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree in Law and Policy from Loyola University Chicago School of Law, which they obtained in 1997.
