Brent Stephens

Brent Stephens is an accomplished academic professional currently serving as the Arthur W. Hill Endowed Chair in Sustainability, Department Chair, and Professor at the Illinois Institute of Technology since May 2012, where responsibilities include instruction in Building Science, Building Enclosure Design, and Indoor Air Pollution, alongside directing the Built Environment Research Group. Prior experience includes roles as an Associate Professor and Assistant Professor at the same institution and as a Doctoral Candidate and Graduate Research Assistant at The University of Texas at Austin from July 2007 to May 2012. Brent also gained practical experience as an intern at Southface in 2006, focusing on residential home inspections.
