Courtney Budd

Courtney Budd is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in recreational sports, education, and nonprofit management. As the Director of Recreational Sports and Fitness at the Illinois Institute of Technology since January 2015, Courtney has successfully planned and developed an inclusive intramural program for students. Prior to this role, Courtney served as Senior Operations Manager at Junior Achievement of Chicago, fostering relationships with local high schools to enhance financial literacy and entrepreneurship among students. Courtney's background also includes positions at North Park University, where involvement in intramural programs and special events led to increased student participation, and experience as a teacher and coach, showcasing a strong commitment to student development and community engagement. Courtney holds a Master's degree with Distinction in Higher Education Administration and a Certificate in Nonprofit Management from North Park University, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Education from Valparaiso University.
