Jeff Barrie

Jeff Barrie currently serves as the Director of Campus Utilities and Energy at the Illinois Institute of Technology, a position held since 2012. Prior to this role, Jeff Barrie was the Director of Utility Operations at the University of Illinois at Chicago from 2003 to 2012, where responsibilities included the daily operation and maintenance of multiple central utility plants and distribution systems. Jeff Barrie also served as the Assistant Director of Utility Operations, overseeing plant operations and facility infrastructure improvements. Jeff Barrie holds both a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Multidisciplinary Mechanical Systems and a Master’s in Business Administration, both from the University of Illinois Chicago.
