Ray Trygstad

Ray Trygstad is an accomplished academic and industry professional with extensive experience at the Illinois Institute of Technology since 1995. Currently serving as Associate Chair of the Department of Information Technology & Management and Industry Professor, Ray is responsible for designing and managing curricula for undergraduate and graduate programs while advising students. Ray previously held the position of Director of Information Technology for the IIT School of Applied Technology, overseeing university-wide IT infrastructure and resources. With a military background as a Lieutenant Commander in the United States Navy, Ray has a substantial aviation experience and a strong foundation in information systems. Ray's academic credentials include a Master of Science in Systems Management and undergraduate studies from the United States Naval Academy, complemented by ongoing doctoral studies in Computer Science.
