Rachel Lindner

Rachel Lindner is a Supervising Staff Attorney at the Illinois Prison Project since October 2022, following a career as a Staff Attorney at Orleans Public Defenders from May 2015 to October 2022. Prior experience includes serving as a Fellow and Staff Attorney at the Capital Appeals Project from August 2012 to May 2015, and various legal roles including Law Clerk at Public Defender Service and Legal Intern positions at Southern Center for Human Rights, Bluhm Legal Clinic, and Capital Appeals Project. Rachel holds a JD from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law, a Master of Arts in Divinity from the University of Chicago Divinity School, and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from the University of Chicago. Earlier in career, Rachel contributed as a Program Assistant at Jeht Foundation and completed an internship at Chicago Public Radio.
