Casey Wills

Casey Wills is an experienced educational professional currently serving as a School Improvement Coordinator, IL-EMPOWER Coordinator, and Principal Consultant for License Renewal, Professional Development and Division Grants at the Illinois State Board of Education since March 2020. Prior to this role, Casey held the position of Academic Advisor in the Teacher Education Program at the University of Illinois Springfield for a brief period in late 2019, and was self-employed as a School Leader and Instructional Specialist. From August 2008 to October 2019, Casey was the Principal of New Berlin Elementary School, overseeing the education of pre-K to 5th grade students within New Berlin CUSD #16. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and Teaching from Millikin University and a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from the University of Illinois Springfield.
