Jackie Matthews

Jackie Matthews has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Jackie is currently the Executive Director of Communications at the Illinois State Board of Education, a position they have held since May 2021. Prior to this role, Jackie served as the Director of External Communications at the same organization from September 2016 to May 2021.

Before joining the Illinois State Board of Education, Jackie worked at RALLY, a communications firm. Jackie held various roles there, including Account Executive, Senior Account Associate, and Account Associate. During their time at RALLY, they were involved in managing national campaigns, drafting press releases and statements, conducting media training, and coordinating high-profile events.
