Sara Liesman

EBF Data Processing Lead at Illinois State Board of Education

Sara Liesman has a diverse work experience, starting with their current position as the EBF Data Processing Lead at the Illinois State Board of Education since 2021. Prior to this role, they worked as a Principal Consultant and then a Consultant at the same organization.

In 2020, Sara served as the IBA Education and Outreach Coordinator at the Center for Collaborative Studies in Mathematical Biology, where their responsibilities included organizing conferences and webinar series, analyzing attendee and performance data, and developing outreach content.

Before that, they worked at Illinois State University as an Instructional Assistant Professor, developing and implementing course material for College Algebra and providing online lectures and one-on-one student support. Sara then pursued a Master's degree in Biomathematics, Bioinformatics, and Computational Biology from the same university, which they completed in 2020. Prior to attending Illinois State University, Sara Liesman obtained an Associate of Science degree from the College of DuPage.
