Legal and Policy

The Legal and Policy team at the Illinois State Board of Education works to ensure that resources are allocated efficiently and equitably, oversee legal and regulatory compliance, and promote policies that support educational equity. Team members such as the Senior Policy Specialist - Resource Allocation, Hearing Officer, and Equity Lead collaborate to create and enforce policies that enhance educational opportunities for all students.
