April Anderson-Zorn has extensive experience in the field of archival work and education. Currently serving as the University Archivist and Instructor in the History Department at Illinois State University since 2011, April teaches the HIS 395 Archives and Manuscripts course, imparting knowledge of archival theory and practice to students. Additionally, April operates as a Freelance Archival Consultant, providing expertise in archival consultations, including surveys, planning, and processing. Prior experience includes roles as Senior Archivist and Adjunct Instructor at the University of Central Florida, as well as serving as a Graduate Assistant in Archival work. April holds a Master of Library and Information Science from Florida State University, a Master of Arts in History with a focus on Public History from the University of Central Florida, and a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of West Florida.
