Erin Thomas

Erin Thomas is an accomplished professional in higher education with nearly two decades of experience in various roles focused on student involvement and leadership. Currently, Erin serves as the Director of Advancement & Assessment at Illinois State, where responsibilities include providing education and consulting to 13 Student Affairs departments on data analysis for decision-making and directing assessment efforts to highlight the impact of student affairs on learning and development. Prior roles at Illinois State included Coordinator positions in Leadership & Service and Student Involvement Center, alongside serving as Senior Specialist and Program Coordinator in student life. Previously, Erin worked at the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee as Assistant Director of Student Activities and Program Advisor. Erin holds a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership and Administration from Illinois State University, along with a Master's degree in College Student Counseling and Personnel Services and a Bachelor's degree in Business and Spanish from Concordia College.
