Krzysztof Ostaszewski

Krzysztof Ostaszewski is a Distinguished Professor of Mathematics and Actuarial Program Director at Illinois State University, where the Actuarial Program has been recognized as a Society of Actuaries' Center of Actuarial Excellence since 2009 and has received the Casualty Actuarial Society University Award in both 2016 and 2019. Prior to this role, Krzysztof served as the Research Director for Life Insurance and Pensions at The Geneva Association from September 2011 to December 2013. Krzysztof holds a Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of Washington, obtained between 1981 and 1985, and a Master’s degree in Mathematics from the University of Lodz, completed between 1976 and 1981.
