Susan Hildebrandt

Susan Hildebrandt is a distinguished academic professional with extensive experience in applied linguistics and Spanish. Currently serving as Special Assistant to the Provost and Professor of Applied Linguistics & Spanish at Illinois State University since August 2009, Susan has also held roles such as Interim Associate Dean for Academics at Mennonite College of Nursing and Interim Chair of the Department of Special Education in the College of Education. Prior to Illinois State University, Susan was an Assistant Professor of Spanish at Longwood University from August 2006 to July 2009. Academic credentials include a PhD in Foreign Language and ESL Education from the University of Iowa, complemented by a Master's degree in the same field and a Bachelor's degree in Spanish Education from the University of Wisconsin institutions.
