Susan Lynch

Susan Lynch currently serves as the Executive Assistant to the President at Illinois State University since December 2022, where responsibility includes providing highly confidential executive support and managing special projects. Prior to this role, Susan held multiple positions at Illinois State University's Mennonite College of Nursing, beginning as an Administrative Assistant to the Dean from August 2013 to November 2022, and later as Office Manager for Student and Faculty Services. In these roles, Susan facilitated scheduling, drafted professional communications, and managed health compliance for nursing students. Additionally, Susan worked as a Senior Program Assistant at AAALAC International from August 2008 to June 2013, maintaining relationships with the Board of Trustees and organizing Fellowship nominations. Earlier experience includes serving as a Claims Representative at State Farm from August 2001 to September 2007, where responsibilities involved evaluating and negotiating insurance claims. Susan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Rhetoric and Communication from Mount St. Mary's University.
