Salome Kiwara-Wilson currently serves as a Law Clerk at the Illinois Supreme Court, a position held since September 2022. Prior to this role, Salome worked as an Assistant Appellate Defender at the Office of the State Appellate Defender from February 2017 to August 2022 and as an Assistant Inspector General at the Office of the Executive Inspector General from January 2015 to February 2017. Early career experience includes a fellowship with the Thomas J. Watson Foundation from July 2009 to July 2010. Salome holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from DePaul University, where studies were completed from 2010 to 2013. Additionally, Salome participated in a study abroad program in French at Université Paul Cézanne during the 2008-2009 academic year and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Art History and French from Berea College between 2005 and 2009.
