Danny Leitao

Danny Leitao serves as the Technology Research Manager and Electrical Engineering Advisor at ITW since August 2019, focusing on technology research, patent landscaping, Industrial Internet of Things (IIOT), Industry 4.0, robotics, and augmented/virtual reality. Prior to this role, Danny was the Engineering Manager for Turbine Systems at Woodward from October 2009 to June 2019, where leadership encompassed a multi-disciplined engineering group responsible for aircraft electronic engine control systems and igniter product lines. Danny's educational background includes a Master of Business Administration from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management, a Master’s degree in Power Electronics and Control Systems from Illinois Institute of Technology, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Power Systems and Power Electronics from the University of Saskatchewan.
