Meredith Platt

Meredith (Viveiros) Platt is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the automotive and materials preparation industries. Currently serving as Group President at ITW since January 2019, Platt also holds the title of Vice President / General Manager for ITW Automotive. Prior to this role, Platt was Vice President / General Manager at Buehler, an ITW Company, from April 2015 to December 2018, overseeing a global business focused on materials preparation and analysis equipment. Platt's earlier experience includes a significant role as Director of Marketing & Emerging Markets in the Electromechanical Business at Instron from September 2010 to April 2015, emphasizing product planning and marketing strategy. Educational qualifications include an MBA from D'Amore-McKim School of Business at Northeastern University, an M.S. in Biomechanics from Penn State University, and a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
