Christie Pruyn

Christie Pruyn, CAE, currently serves as Executive Director for both the Illinois Venture Capital Association and the IVCA Promoting Diversity Foundation, roles assumed in February 2023. Previously, Christie held the position of Chief Operating Officer at The Society for Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance from July 2021 to February 2023, where improvements in operations and strategic planning were implemented. Christie has extensive experience in association management, having served as Executive Director for several organizations, including the International Live Events Association and the Chicago Area Chapter of Meeting Professionals International. With a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Spanish from North Central College, Christie has a proven track record in leadership, financial management, and organizational development across multiple sectors.
