Sphumelele Msomi

Sphumelele Msomi is a Process Controller at Illovo Sugar Africa, responsible for operating and controlling processes at the wastewater treatment plant to meet specifications and standards. Sphumelele also worked as a Process Specialist at the same company, providing instructions for process control changes to ensure water quality requirements are met. Prior to this, Sphumelele was a Process Controller at AkzoNobel, where duties included operating the wastewater treatment plant, collecting samples, and recording water meter readings. Sphumelele is currently pursuing an Advanced Diploma in Chemical Engineering at the University of South Africa, with previous qualifications including a National Diploma in Chemical Engineering from Mangosuthu University of Technology.
