Jan Ullstad, MBA, has over 30 years of experience in various finance and leadership roles. Starting in 1989, they worked as a Controller for Alpharma and later became the Finance Director for different divisions within the company. In these roles, they were responsible for financial business support, developing strategies, and implementing cost-saving measures. Jan also served as the Finance Director for Supply Chain Business Support at Alpharma, where they managed financial operations for multiple international production sites. From 2004 to 2009, Jan Ullstad was the CFO for Tjellesen Max Jenne, a Danish pharmaceutical wholesaler, and prewholesaler, and they served on the board of directors. In 2009, they joined Pon Power as the Financial Director, overseeing subsidiaries in Denmark, Norway, Sweden, and the Baltic territories. Jan also briefly served as the Interim Marketing Manager there. Most recently, since 2017, Jan Ullstad has been the CFO of ILLUM, where they are responsible for finance, IT, legal, logistics, maintenance, and security.

Jan Ullstad, MBA, has a diverse education history. From 2000 to 2002, they attended Henley Business School, where they obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on general management. In 2008 to 2009, they pursued further education at The Coaching Company/The Leadership Company, earning a degree in Executive Coaching. Prior to that, from 1989 to 1993, Jan Ullstad studied at Niels Brock and graduated with a Merkonom degree in Revision, Finansiering, and Regnskabsvæsen (Accounting and Financial Management).
