Mark Snodgrass, PhD

Mark Snodgrass, PhD has held a variety of roles in the information security field since 1994. Mark began their career as a Research Assistant at Stanford University in 1994, and later became a Co-founder of Olosec in 1998. In 2006, they became a Co-founder and COO of Illumant, a company that delivers confidence in all aspects of information security through assessment and penetration testing. Mark also held a Lecturer position at Stanford University in 2006, teaching a course entitled Mathematical Laboratory Applications in Civil and Environmental Engineering.

Mark Snodgrass, PhD received their Bachelor of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Stanford University in 1992. Mark then spent a year studying Anthropology at Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú before returning to Stanford University to pursue a Master of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering, which they completed in 1994. Mark then went on to earn their Doctor of Philosophy in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Stanford University in 2005.
