Rachel Freed

Rachel Freed has a diverse work experience in the field of production design and graphic design. Rachel most recently worked as a Lead Production Designer at ILLUME®, starting in June 2023. Prior to that, they were a Production Design Manager at Made For Retail Inc. from February to June 2023. Rachel also held the position of Lead Production Designer at ILLUME from August 2013 to February 2023.

Before joining ILLUME, they worked at Scales Advertising as an Account Coordinator / Artist from October 2012 to August 2013. At Imagewerks Marketing, they served as a Project Manager / Web Production Designer from December 2010 to September 2012. Rachel also worked as a Freelance Production Artist at Capella University from March 2010 to October 2010.

Rachel's earlier experience includes roles such as Production Designer at Imagewerks Marketing from August 2005 to March 2010, Graphic Designer at For Rent Magazine from January 2002 to August 2005, and Production Designer at Dometri Marketing from September 2000 to January 2002. Throughout their career, Rachel gained extensive experience in designing various print and online materials, managing projects, providing customer service, and utilizing software platforms on both Mac and PC.

Rachel Freed attended Rochester Community and Technical College from 1994 to 1996, where they obtained an Associate of Arts (AA) degree in Computer Graphics. Rachel then enrolled at the College of Visual Arts from 1996 to 1999, earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Communication Design.
