Tim DiBona has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Tim started their career as a Co-Owner/Manager at Precision Care Auto Repair and also worked as a Store Manager at Parts City Auto Parts. In 2000, they joined Johnson Controls as a Production Union Liaison. Later, they transitioned into the IT field and worked as a Service Desk Analyst/IT Operations at LTCG. Tim then took on roles as a DevOps Engineer/Release Manager and a Technical Security Professional - Vulnerability Program Manager at LTCG, where they handled tasks such as integrating build and deployment best practices and managing technical vulnerabilities remediation. Tim also gained experience in the firefighting industry, serving as a Lead Fire Instructor/Certified Firefighter at Northwood Tech & United Fire Rescue. In April 2022, Tim joined illumifin as a Senior Technical Security Professional - AppSec & Vulnerability Program Manager and later became a Principal Technical Security & Risk Management Professional in April 2023.

Tim DiBona attended Northwood Technical College from 2011 to 2022, where they obtained the degrees of Emergency Services Instructor I & II in the field of Fire Protection/Firefighting. In 2016, they also earned a degree as an Emergency Medical Technician (NR-EMT) from the same institution. Additionally, Tim has received various certifications, including Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) from ISACA in 2023, (ISC)2 Security CISSP (ISC2-CISSP) from (ISC)² in 2022, and ITIL Foundation - IT Service Management from PeopleCert in 2017. Tim has also obtained certifications such as Emergency Service Instructor II, Fire Officer I, Emergency Service Instructor I, Fire Fighter II, Fire Fighter / Hazmat Ops, FEMA ICS-100, FEMA ICS-200, FEMA ICS-300, FEMA ICS-400, FEMA IS-800, FEMA NIMS-700.
