Clarence Mills has a diverse and extensive work experience dating back to 2000. Clarence began their career as a Network Administrator at BorderWare Technologies, where they handled website administration, designed and implemented corporate websites, and managed telephony systems.
In 2008, Clarence joined Messagelabs Ltd as a Senior Security Infrastructure Administrator. Here, they advised and implemented PKI level encryption for large enterprise customers and provided third-level analysis and resolution for PKI-related issues.
Clarence then moved on to Symantec in 2010, where they served as a Senior Infrastructure Administrator, managing and configuring VMware virtual environments for the Quality Assurance department.
From 2011 to 2016, Clarence worked at Scalar Decisions as a System Administrator and Technical Account Manager. In this role, they were responsible for systems administration of customers' VMware virtual environments, daily configuration and change management of physical and virtual infrastructure.
Clarence joined Scotiabank in 2016 as a Technical Specialist Automation and played a significant role in designing a highly available automation platform, integrating various systems for authentication and authorization, and migrating manual procedures to a digital delivery platform.
Clarence later worked as a System Engineer at AgileBits, Inc. in 2017, before returning to Scotiabank in 2018 as an Automation Framework Specialist.
Their most recent role is with AcuityAds Inc, where they have been working as a DevOps Engineer since December 2019.
Throughout their career, Clarence has gained experience in various areas such as infrastructure management, automation, security administration, and technical consulting.
Clarence Mills attended Sheridan College from 1996 to 1999, where they pursued a degree in Computer Systems Analysis, specializing in System Analysis. In December 2020, they obtained a certification in Programming Foundations: Version Control with Git from LinkedIn.
