Jerry Steiner

Jerry Steiner is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the agriculture and biotechnology sectors. Currently serving as Executive Chairman at PLuton Biosciences and Stony Creek Colors, Jerry also holds board member positions at Albemarle Corporation and advises for Ag planetary health startups at Illumina Ventures. Previously, Jerry was CEO of CoverCress Inc., where the focus was on developing sustainable winter cash crops. Jerry's career includes significant roles at Monsanto, where Jerry was Executive Vice President of Sustainability & Global Corporate Affairs, contributing to the management of a $50B company, and SVP at Celera Corporation, overseeing genomic services. Jerry holds an Executive MBA from Washington University in St. Louis and a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
