Amber Scott

Amber Scott, Ph.D. is a Senior Field Applications Scientist at Illumina since April 2021, following the role of Field Application Scientist, II. Previously, Amber served as the Director of the BioFrontiers Next Generation Sequencing Facility at the University of Colorado Boulder from July 2017 to April 2021. Amber also gained experience as a Graduate Student in the Dowell Lab at the University of Colorado at Boulder from August 2011 to May 2017 and worked as a Professional Research Assistant in the Nemenoff Lab at the University of Colorado Denver from May 2009 to August 2011. Amber holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Molecular Biology from the University of Colorado Boulder, earned in 2017, and a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from The George Washington University, completed in 2009.
