André Eggen is currently the Director of Agrigenomics Global at Illumina, a position they have held since 2014. Previously, they worked at Illumina in various roles, including Specialist, Sr. Market Development Manager, and Associate Principal Marketing Manager in Agrigenomics. Prior to their tenure at Illumina, André served as a Research Director and Research Scientist at the French National Institute of Agricultural Research from 2003 to 2009. They earned a degree in Animal Genetics and a PhD in Animal Genetics from the Eidgenössische Technische Hochschule Zürich, where they studied from 1984 to 1992.
